Tsinghua University and Dianshi Instrument jointly launched the combustion Summer School to help the development of combustion science

On July 8, the Burning Summer School set up by Tsinghua University and Hefei Dianshi Instrument and other scientific and technological enterprises is in full swing, and this activity brings together many outstanding scholars at home and abroad for academic exchanges. The Tsinghua-Princeton Combustion Summer School is organized by the Combustion Energy Center of Tsinghua University, and the masters participating in the teaching are authoritative figures in various fields of international combustion academia (Prof. Chung K.Lo, Prof. Henry Curran, Prof. Andreas Dreizler, Prof. Tianfeng Lu). Most of the participants are teachers and graduate students from combustion research teams at universities and colleges in China and other Asia-Pacific regions, as well as R&D engineers in the engine, oil and energy industries. The Tsinghua-Princeton Combustion Summer School is renowned in the field of combustion in the Asia-Pacific region, and the event aims to promote the sustainable development and international integration of combustion science research in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

Scientific research equipment is an essential basic equipment to support scientific research and technological innovation. Hefei Point Stone Instrument, as one of the earliest manufacturers of customized scientific research instruments and equipment in China, was invited to participate in this summer school, and demonstrated the latest customized laboratory equipment such as tabletop heat island, constant volume bomb, laser igniter, flat flame burner, and sealing detector. During the period, a number of teachers visited the booth of Dianshi Instrument to visit and experience, and exchanged and discussed with the participants of Dianshi Instrument on the core parameters of the equipment, application direction, operation methods and other topics, and the two sides gained a lot.

 

"Desktop heat island is dedicated to combustion pyrolysis reaction experimental equipment, cavity volume 1L, the highest working pressure of 3MPa, can build a composite experimental environment, such as high temperature, low temperature, high altitude, oxygen rich, oxygen poor, etc., integrated high-speed camera, laser igniter, for material combustion pyrolysis thermal characteristics research, in the industry at the leading level."


The constant volume chamber has a volume of 15L, the maximum working pressure is 10MPa, and it is equipped with 4 sapphire observation Windows, which can test the blasting characteristics of materials in a composite environment, carry out real-time monitoring and observation of the experimental process, support data acquisition and product analysis, and be used for the research of laminar combustion, turbulent combustion, one-time combustion and continuous combustion.


The laser igniter is a non-contact ignition with an ignition energy of up to 100W, which can quickly ignite experimental samples such as lithium batteries, pulverized coal particles, aluminum-magnesium alloy, etc. Its performance is better than that of traditional electric ignition methods such as electrodes and resistance wires, and its PTZ X, Y, and Z axes are adjustable to ensure accurate focusing.


Flat flame burners can generate uniform and stable flame, support fuel mixture combustion, suitable for mass combustion analysis. Users can choose the material, whether there is a protective gas ring and the size of the sintering disc according to the experimental requirements.


The high-precision non-destructive sealing detector adopts differential pressure detection method, with high measurement accuracy and resolution of 0.1Pa, which is suitable for testing the sealing of laboratory equipment and escorting the safety of equipment and experimental personnel."
