Exhibition Updates | Beijing Dianshi Hi-Tech Supports Grand Opening of 2025 Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics Academic Annual Meeting

On the morning of October 31, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics Academic Annual Meeting was successfully held at Beijing Jiuhua Resort.

This academic annual meeting aims to deepen academic interaction and exchange in the field of engineering thermophysics, vigorously promote the cutting-edge development of the discipline and its efficient application in engineering practice, and effectively drive revolutionary breakthroughs in low-carbon technology as well as the transformation and upgrading of low-carbon industries.

The conference was organized by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics and hosted by the National Key Laboratory of Light-Duty Gas Turbine and the Key Laboratory of Long-Duration Large-Scale Energy Storage, both under the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the opening ceremony, Zhu Junqiang, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, along with leaders from the China Association for Science and Technology, delivered speeches. As a leading one-stop supplier of scientific research equipment in the field of engineering thermophysics, Beijing Dianshi Hi-Tech served as one of the key sponsors of this conference.

The keynote session of the conference was chaired by Academician He Yaling and Academician Jiang Peixue, both from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Attendees included Guan Yonggang, Director of the Comprehensive and Strategic Planning Division of the Department of Engineering and Materials Sciences at the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Professor Xuan Yimin from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics; Professor Guo Liejin from Xi'an Jiaotong University; Distinguished Professor Qi Fei from Shanghai Jiao Tong University; and Xu Gang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The experts delivered academic presentations titled respectively: "Funding, Work Progress, and Prospects of the '14th Five-Year Plan'"; "Solar-Driven Conversion of Carbon Dioxide into Hydrocarbon Fuels: From 'Random' Behaviors of Micro Carriers to 'Orderly' Energy/Mass Conversion at the Macroscopic Level"; "Multiphase Flow Energy-Mass Transport and Conversion Characteristics in Living Systems—Biomimetic Technologies for Disease Diagnosis, Treatment, and Energy Conversion"; "Combustion Research Based on Mass Spectrometry and Spectroscopy"; and "Key Technologies for Variable-Mode Engines with Inter-stage Duct Combustion." The keynote session concluded amidst warm applause.
