On the morning of December 14, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Academic Conference on Engineering Thermodynamics and Energy Utilization of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics was successfully held in Xiamen International Convention Center Hotel. The conference was organized by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, hosted by Xiamen University, and supported by the Engineering Science Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

At the opening ceremony, Xiamen University leadership, president of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics Jin Hongguang and the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics director of the Branch of thermodynamics Yang Yongping addressed the opening ceremony by Xiamen University Professor Zhao Yingru presided over.
